Finished Mocha Art!

Hello hello everyone!
Okay, so yes, before anyone comments about the time, yes, I am posting this at almost 11 PM.
Not the latest time I've posted before (shush, I stay up late, XDD), but still.

I apologize about that, but this time, I didn't forget! I was actually working all day on finishing a certain piece of art for this post!


A few days ago, while talking to Lost, I mentioned that I might try to draw the sweet dog she dog-sits, Mocha! I finally decided to start that project at school on Friday, and I ended up finishing it tonight, which is a lot earlier than I expected!

Anyways, I took a couple pictures throughout my process, so I figured I'd show those! :D



First off, here's the reference pic I used!

This is definitely one of my favorite pictures of her- she just looks so comfortable and cuteeeeee, XD!


Anyways, first, I drew the head, eyes, and nose at school, and when I got home, I added a basic body and the ears, along with a faint basic outline of her floofy tail, XD!

I also added some visible fuzz to them, since she's a Pomeranian/Yorkie mix, and both those dogs can have some pretty long fur, hehe!


Today, I started off with fully drawing her feathery tail, ears, and muzzle! I also added some lines below her to show where the blanket (or dog bed- I'm not sure, XD) folds and dips down. Y'know, all that. XD!

Next, I added even MORE fur texture all over her face and back!

Man, you have no idea how long the black part of her back took to make. XD!


And finally, I added texture to her thigh, colored in her eyes, made some things darker and lighter, and drew some more... er... fold-things, or whatever they're called... in the blanket/dog bed!

And bingo! Here it is- the finished Mocha art!

I didn't end up drawing the little sheep all over the blanket/dog bed, but, uh... that would've taken a LONG time, and I needed this up today, XD! Plus, I decided to mostly just focus on sweet Mocha in this picture!
I also drew a box around it, just to make all the lines in the background stop somewhere and look cleaner, XD!
