Blogger Signature -- Canine Claw!

Today's Blogger Signature is forrrrrrrr....



CANINE CLAW! 😁 YAAAAAAAY!!



This may be a short post... in truth, it's extremely likely. Between the two large mugs of coffee and the two bottles of vitamin-drink-stuff I made, I am now on a caffeine crash from the equivalent of about eight cups of coffee. (Granted, that's been spaced out over the whole day... nonetheless, I really should have done the math before drinking so much of the stuff.)



I remwmbwered -- (aaaand there's the caffeine crash showing up...) -- I remembered when thinking of a design for the signature that I had done a portrait of Canine Claw in the past, so I included it in the backgrong!

...Background.

Here's the original portrait.

Which is based on Canine's description of her character... (*takes a sip of the old coffee left in the mug* *makes a cross-eyed grimacing face at the awful taste*) ...and her Animal Jam avatar, seen here.

Which brings us to the finished signature... here! 😊

Hmmm... *taps fingers against chin* TBH, it looked a lot more neon in my art program. Was it my iPad's screen that was too bright then, or my computer's screen that is too dark now? Please tell me in the comments if I need to post a "fixed"/brightened version!

The text was made by using the -- errrrr, I think it was called Hemp? -- brush. The text's shadow was made duplicating the text layer, offsetting it, and turning it black. The glow was created by duplicating the text layer (again) and applying the Gaussian Blur effect. I played around with the colors a lot before I got the shades I liked. Still not completely satisfied, personally... but that's my perfectionism at work. *shrugs* Overall, I like how the style turned out! 😊
