Clear-up post

so hey all! Im here, and uh, I'm going to clear some things up.

Now first of all, my birthday passed, it was May 14, I didn't post because I was out with family and my schools HUGE sporting event against other schools :V

Mental health update: I'm doing much better.

Other: My family and some friends went on a huge trip to Costa Rica recently, for obvious reasons I wasn't able to post :(
My doggo has something up his nose :( (don't worry! We are going to take him to the vet soon)


so yeah, also, I'm looking for new authors, I'm not the best blogger in the world, its at the point were I post once a month. If you are interested in being an author, comment so I can send you the form.

Discussion-Google+, and blog changes

Hey guys! Dizzy here with another post, today I'm discussing the ending of google+, and how it will affect our blog. If you haven't heard, Google+ recently shut down, and many authors use google+ in order to blog. Thus their account have gotten deleted. Im 90% sure that they have regular google accounts, with a regular google account they should be able to make a new blogger account, so if your a former author, please comment so I can re-ad you!

Inspirational Art Pieces of Jamaa

Hey guys!

So today I decided to post some inspirational art pieces that I found in AJ, as I haven't really created anything new or finished in the past few weeks to post on here. Hopefully I will have some new art soon! Also, it's kinda nice to see some powering messages once in awhile instead of normal masterpieces without messages.

My friend Housemom418, helped find a few of these masterpieces as she had them in her den!

Speaking of housemom the first one comes from her!

The quote says, "Let your sunshine, shine."

Its a simple yet inspirational message that everyone should follow. 

Don't be afraid to be yourself, and let your true self come out! It's who you were made to be:)

I love the cuteness of the bird and the font of the message. Its simple yet great at the same time!

I also like the spots coming from the corner. 

This one comes from Historicalhistory.

The message says, "Take your candle, and light up the world."

I love this message also! I feel like it's trying to say, Take your values and use them to show the world. How special!

I love the darker background of this image as it brightens up the candle, though I am sure thats the effect it was made for. The colour of the text is also great too!

But if you think of it this way, family is valuable and important. 

I love how simple this masterpiece is! It's also a nice effect of how the text takes up about 2/3 of the picture!

The polarbear sitting on the ice berg is sooo cute! The details, the aurora in the sky, so so pretty!

Well today I am here once again posting.

Reality: Hmmm okay.  Let's read the post...

So for today's post I have 2 pieces of art. The first piece of art is a signature that I made on Chicken Smoothie. 

This is just an example of a commission that I plan on doing. I need some feedback with how much CS dollars, pets and their rarities, and items I should charge for them. So if you have ideas let me know below lol. Thats only one example though. 

I've also been working on a panda face art piece on CS as well.

I probably could have added a few details and touch ups. But it actually doesn't look to bad considering I made it in like 1- 1.5 hours.

Goodbye-New Owner

Well.. I guess you can tell by the title.
I'm quitting both AJ and AJ blogging.

Warning: This post contains a large amount of cheese, proceed with caution. especially if you are lactose intolerant


I honestly never thought this day would come.. I always said I'd always play AJ, I'd always do AJ blogging but.. it looks like I was wrong.

I always thought that someday, I'd be able to make my blog, me and Ja dreamed we'd call it "The Animal Jam Adventure" but alas, it was not to be so.

I've been playing AJ sense 2013, that's seven years. And wow.. does that seem like a lot when I think about it..

I've met so many amazing people through AJ and blogging, so many people have inspired me, in fact without this I don't think I would have started drawing as much as I do.
So many bloggers have quit, so many losing interest and just getting older.
For me its basically lack of interest, and its unfair to you guys me filling up a space on this blog.

 I do and don't want to do this. I hate to leave this amazing community, but I just have no interest in Animal Jam anymore.
I'll probably log on every once and a while, idk, (Most likely update days)  I'm trying to keep a straight face with a warm smile, but tears are starting to fall.
I have so many fond memories, I'll miss it so much. It's just not fun anymore, its almost stressful to post. I'll probably check blogs every once in a while, even just out of habit.
Its somewhat ironic that I'm the one quitting now, after all my time of saying "We need to revive the bloggers!" orr "We need a Blogger Plaque!" and stuff like that. (Although I'm still not giving up on that. *glares at AJHQ*)
Animal Jam for me, just isn't exciting for me, I use to get super excited about updates and new animals, but now I'm just like, "Whatever." even when Balloosh came out.
I've just lost interest, everybody does eventually, I really admire everyone who has played sense beta and still loves it.


I'll be just as active as I've always been on Hangouts, and probably contact everyone when I'm able to make a blog of my own.

Animal Jam has truly changed my life, and I have so many thank you's..

Graciepopstar91: You are the one who introduced me to the blogging community.

Karalee: You were my first glimpse of an artist, did you know that? I admired (and still do!) your art skills, you have such talent, you were such a good friend, and you really inspired me.

Nafaria9: I don't know if you're reading this as you quit AJ blogging as well, but you were the first AJ blog I ever read, I looked up AJ toys and found yours about the new AJ toys. (Well they were unreleased then) I really admired how you could post every day.

Floracutegirl: Always fun to talk to, Flora you're a great friend <3

New Art!

Hello there! It's Snow. Today I am going to be posting the two new pieces of art I have drawn in the past week. (Yes, I draw way too much.)

This is the first one! It was part of an art trade. The characters do not belong to me. Their names are Aurae and Lyra, and they are sisters. I drew Aurae with her arm around Lyra's shoulder.

The second piece is a character I made for myself! It was part of a design contest on Chicken Smoothie. She has an oversized sweater with bunny ears, heart glasses, a donut inspired skirt, and converse shoes. I don't have any name ideas, though. Any suggestions?

Actually looking back to the original animals they are based off of, the colours don't exactly match. Oh well XD I still like them!!

The Mysterious Stranger

Hello everybody! It's me, and it's time for anther pos-

Hmm, what's that? Who am I? Oh yeah... I haven't introduced myself. I'm the new author for the Animal Jam Artists Collaborative.

My name is Snowlondon, but I go by Snow. My pronouns are she/her. I have been playing Animal Jam since 2010 - yup, the beta days. While I'm not able to play as much as I used to, I still love the game.

This is my main look. Owls are my favourite animal!

I got into the art side of Animal Jam around four years ago. My art style has been heavily influenced by Animal Jam art.

Here is one of my first drawings. I cringe just looking at it. Don't worry, I've improved a lot.

For example, here is a more recent drawing of mine. (The character is not mine.)

Some random facts about me:

- I'm in tons of fandoms. Marvel, Avatar the Last Airbender, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Adventure Time, Wings of Fire, and Harry Potter are just a few. I will probably post fanart on this blog sometime!

- I also have a lot of OCs who I constantly draw, like Primrose and Fiona.

- If I could have any superpower, it would be the ability to fly. I'm not quite sure why, I've just always loved the idea.

- I love love love writing. My dream is to become an author.

- I'm also really into comics. A friend and I are planning to start a webcomic! If it happens anytime soon, I will make a post about it.

- I, (like many other bloggers,) play a game called Chicken Smoothie. I even made some fanart here. My username is Snowlondon there as well, so feel free to PM or trade me!

- I love italian food! This is probably the most random fact about me. Something about the bread + tomato sauce + cheese is just amazing.

That's about it, my friends. I hope I haven't bored you to death! I'm am so happy to be an author for this amazing blog, and I hope I can meet new people along the way.

Marvelous Animal Masterpieces

Hey jammers!

I am finally here posting again... Um let's not think about the last time that happened.

So basically ive been busy with homework everytime I was suppose to post the past few times and everytime I planned on posting later in the week to make up for it, it never happened. I was gonna post like last week but I ran out of time and got busy with other things.

So here I am making a post! I was originally going to post Chicken Smoothie christmas art but like I said before I kinda ran out of time so its late for that now... So I decided to post some art from AJ, since that hasn't happened in a little while! (also haven't finished the computer drawn chibi's yet cause i had to restart it twice, once cause it wasn't work out the way I planned and second time it didn't save. haven't had time since to work on it)

I love how realistic this cat looks even though the texture isn't exactly what a texture would look like on ac cat. The focal point is also very vibrant compared to the very nice textured background which is more pastel colours.

I love all the colours in this since they are true to the animal. The fur also looks more like fur too.

I love how the boy and the cat are darker shades while the background is full of patterns and colours.

Theres no doubt that this one is good. I love how it's kinda a collage, with a wall fire flames and houses. There is only a few colours used which works really good within this piece of art. There is also many values that make it look 3D.

This cat is honestly the most realistic out of all the animals shown.

I love how the background overlaps onto the animal and how the cat has so many different shades involved.  The stuff is also very proportionate which is also great!

I just realized after writing this that 4/5 of the pictures have a cat.
