FINALLY, Some Art By Me!

Hello hello everyone!
CHECK IT OUT! I'M POSTING EARLY FOR ONCE!!! XDD

And not only that, but this time, I actually have some art that I made!! I've been making a couple CS sketches lately, and I'm actually pretty pleased with the results!

First, I made a lil' PPS monkey! I'm glad this one turned out so well- I think it's my best one so far, XD!

I used this lil' birthday monkey as a reference picture!

As you can see, I didn't choose to add the design, but oh well, XD!

Next, I made a PPS guinea pig! I used this picture...

... and this is the result!

It started out looking a little too skinny, so I fixed it just a bit, and although it was a small change, I think it made a big difference, hehe!

And lastly, a teeny PPS hamster, hehe! I used this picture!

(Yes, I DID name it Tiny Boy. XDD)

Pretty simple, as you can see! XD!

I'm also working on a PPS dog down there, but it's not looking quite right, so I need to work on it some more! I'll most likely post a picture of it next week!

AJ Chibi -- Wolf!

This week, we've got a new animal-logo chibi, and it is... a Wolf!

Dressing Up AJ Graphics + Random Artwork + Hiiiiiii

Hey so first off- OMIGOSH SARAH & JA, CAN'T BELIEVE YOU GOT A HUSKY PUP!!! So luckyyyyy... and anyways, back to this post.

Heh, kind of running out of stuff do for posts, so here's some random artwork + Animal Jam graphics that have been decorated to look like they're wearing clothing! I know, it's weird!

So yeah, and BOOM here's some random artwork and a WIP!

And I have a museum on Animal Jam in my den, and you can check it out yourself! And that wraps up the short blog post~

Bad News and Good News..

Okay anyways, first the bad news, and thenn the good news,

Unfortunately, Transions will be leaving the AJAC because she is very busy with school, but she is NOT quitting blogging! She will still be posting on her blog, The Shimmering Diamond! I hope everything gets better with school Trans! ^.^ I'll be working on the audition forums, if you think you dont have the time, you could even do every other week!  (Just tell me in the comments if you would like to write for the AJAC, again, Transoins said she can post every other Friday! If anybody wants to audition, they still can, for every other Friday! (So like after Trans posts this Friday, the person who gets picked will post the friday after that, then Trans, then the person, uh etc)  So whoever gets picked will post Fridays!

I HAVE WANTED A DOG SO BADLY

So, we are going to get him May 19th, *cries forever because I want him NOW*   His name is Trump, our Dad got to pick the name, but I literally dont care about the name  (Trump would not at all be my first choice but oh well XD) he yawned a lot at first, I wanted to name him Adam Yawn :)  But because it is a puppy (his bday is March 30th so he will be like 7 weeks) he will take up a looot of time, Ja is going to be the main trainer, but I super super super want to train him too, so we will not be spending very much time on the computer, for at least the first few months, (and even after we train him semi-well, we'll be playing with him a lot) Each day is going to go soo slow till we get him, *sigh* BUT I AM SOOO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The picture my dad took,(how he looks now) (my arm is in the backround :D Ja is the one holding him) He is so cute and tiny, and has such deep blue eyes <3 If my camera will actually charge, (THE RED LIGHT BLINKS BUT IT DOESN"T ACTUALLY) you will see and hear uhm a lot about lil Trump!   A lot better quality pictures that I found on the picture, the bottom right one looks like a different dog because its ear looks like one of the circles XD! Honestly, we had no idea where we were going when our mom told us our Dad was going to take us 2 and a half hours away to some 'surprise' He didn't even tell us we were getting one when we arrived, but when we heard "This is the one we were looking at" and "So, do you have any questions?" and a few more stuff like that, me and Ja were just completely staring at each other and blowing up in our minds.  I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED, as I said we (especially Ja) will not be on the computer much for a while,  SO YEP!!! MAY 19TH WE ARE GETTING A HUSKYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A Play Wild Chibi!

Hello, Jamaasians!

Karalee here (as is usual on Wednesdays). 😉



This week, I decided to experiment with something a little different, and I'd like your opinion on how it turned out!

Instead of taking an image from PC Animal Jam to turn into a chibi, I took a screenshot of Animal Jam -- Play Wild!'s Sapphire Shop menu and put it on a background-square from PC Animal Jam.



Here's the screenshot...





...And here's the animal I chose -- a Goat!





Annoyingly, I seem to have forgotten to take progress shots of my work. Which is really weird, I could have sworn I did. (Sorry, guys! 😦)

But it seems we must skip straight to the finished product, so here it is!

NINJA FERRETSSSSSSSSSSSSS

okay so like, its totally national ferret day

OKAY SO UM I CREATED A CHARACTER, AND I'M GONNA SHOW YOU THE PROCESS

Step 1) Sketch out your ideas


I kinda just had fun with this, drawing whatever came to mind! I drew this lovely ferret in different poses and emotions, so I can start planning what I want the character to look like.





Step 2) Start to draw your new character, and see if you're pleased with it!

I created this comic when I was bored in class, and used a simple blue pen. Yeah, it looks a little funky, and it's not done... but it helped me get used to the character, and know what I wanted it to be like!




Step 3) Start making the final draft, and edit or add stuff to your character.

When I started to draw and color this adorable ninja ferret on my Ipad, I decided that he needs some sort of weapon. I mean, this lil guy needs to defend himself! So I drew a sword, and also added some cuffs. Kind of like those elf bracelets on Animal Jam? Yeah, and the sword looks like the non-member pirate sword. If you get all those items and a ninja mask, hey, you could roleplay as the ninja ferret!


Step 4) AND YAY, YOU'RE ALL DONE!


Now, you can use this character to make comics, just to draw, or keep as your OC. Anyway, I hope you guys liked seeing how I made this adorable character. Do you guys think I should change anything? I'm not sure, but what I DO know, is that I gotta wrap up this blog post. Bye guys!

Some Absolutely Amazing Masterpieces!

Hi everyone! I'm really sorry- I totally keep forgetting to post!! But last Saturday, I had a small performance for choir, a guitar performance (which was SO COLD. I'm serious, guys, it felt like the day it snowed down here. IT. WAS. SO. COLD. XD), and a play practice. And this Saturday, I was busy as well and turned off my alarm, eheheh...

But guess whaaaat? My play practices are FINALLY OVER, and we'll be doing 3 performances of the play next week! And after that, I'M DONEEEE!!! XD!

I gotta say, being in a play is super fun, but a whole lot of work is required, and a LOT of my time was taken up by practices. :1

Aaanywho, why don't we go ahead and move along to the art? 

Since I've been so busy, I still haven't been able to draw anything worthy of  being shown on here lately, DX! But hey, other peoples' Masterpieces deserve some recognition too, hehe!

 First, a sweet lil' Pokemon, called Shinx, in a field of pink flowers! This is absolutely adorable!! I love the reflections, and how some flowers seem to be closer to the... er... screen, I guess. XDD

 THIS ONE IS ONE OF MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE MASTERPIECES EVER. YES, OKAY, IT'S APARRI, BUT JUST LOOK AT IITTTTT!!! I HAVE NO WORDS.

 IT'S GREELYYYYYYYY!!! YAAAAAY, MY FAVORITE GRUMPY WOLF DUDE!!! XDD!
I LOVE the detail in this piece- just look at all of that! Phantom pipes, goop, those haunted trees with the faces (XD), brambles, even a lil' phantom baby that just hatched, which I believe is inspired by an AJ item!! And the magic sphere Greely is "holding" in his paw is so well done!! I can't say how much I'd love to own this piece!

 Here's one I took a pretty long time ago, of an arctic wolf enjoying the snow, even catching some on her tongue! The expression is so happy and playful, and the fur looks so warm and shaggy, just like a real arctic wolf!!

And lastly, a fox in a more cartoon-y style, but one that definitely deserves more than 315 likes (although I'm sure it has more now!!) I love the shading on the left side, honestly! Straight-lined shading like that is really cool to me, XD! And the way the background changes color, and the fact that this whole piece follows a strict color scheme, is also a really nice touch!

Welp, I think I've learned my lesson -- simplistic shapes closer to the original AJ animal work better... and be incredibly careful with the eyes, there is absolutely such a thing as TOO round! 😆

Deer & Other Experimental Stuff

Good morning/afternoon/evening/night, antlers. Today I'll be showing you some experimental stuff I was doing! First, deer studies.

I'm terrible at them. The anatomy's all wrong, the colours' off, and everything's terrible but that's ok because practice makes perfect I guess,,

This one was water, canine teeth, and hatch-shading.  I had no idea how to shade the water so I just left it blank, but I think everything else looks nice.
